Chikkamagalur literally means, 'The Younger Daughter's Town.' Legend reads that this town had been given as a dowry to the younger daughter of Rukmangada, the famous chief of Sakrepatna. Chikkamagalur is famous for its tea and coffee plantations. In fact, it is the place where coffee was cultivated for the first time in India.

DAY 01: BANGALORE – CHIKKAMAGALUR

Drive from Bangalore to Chikkamagalur (about 260km / 05 hr drive). Enroute You can visit Belur temple. On arrival atChikkamagalur, check into the hotel. Evening proceeds to local sightseeing. Visit. Mullayanagiri Giri, Jhari water falls, Bababudhan Giri and Manikyadhara Water Falls.Stay overnight at Chikkamagalur.

DAY 02: CHIKKAMAGALUR LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

Have breakfast at leisure.Rest of the day is for the sightseeing of Chikkamagalur. VisitKemmangundi,Kallathigiri falls,Shanti falls, Z Point Trekking Peak, Rock Garden, Krishna Rajendra Hill Park, Hebbe Falls etc., Evening come back to the hotel and stay overnight in Chikkamagalur.

DAY 03: CHIKKAMAGALUR – BANGALORE

After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Bangalore. Enroute visit Halebeedu.
